The Winning Ways of Dillon Continue

Sunday December 1, 2013. | Ken Brown |

Luke Dillon and the #26 Diamond Bay Motorsport team have notched their third win in a row at the Quit Bunbury Speedway and increased their lead in the AHG Sprintcar Series in the process.

This victory might have had an element of luck - with Cameron Gessner sidelined in the latter stages with a throttle problem after setting the pace throughout the A Main - but the bottom line is you have to be still out there when the checker is waved.

Dillon led home Brooke Tatnell, Jamie Maiolo, Brad Maiolo, Jason Kendrick, David Priolo, Carl Dowling, Kye Scroop, Daniel Harding, Callum Williamson, Jason Pryde and Troy Beckingham.

He now enjoys a 92 point buffer over Carl Dowling in the standings with Harding still third ahead of Kendrick who has taken fourth place from the unlucky Gessner.

Nobody played their "Joker" card at the Bunbury meeting.

Everyone will now regroup and prepare for the all important WA Sprintcar Championship showdown at the Perth Motorplex this coming Saturday (December 7).

With this event being a double points show, the stage is set for a top notch spectacle around the Kwinana high banked circuit.
